My name is Richard Thorne and I consider myself an amateur critic of culture. Currently I am a senior English/Secondary Education major at The College of New Jersey, home of the world famous (but not really) TCNJ Lions. I have been writing about film for a few years now, with the occasional reflection dealing on television, video games, and/or music. When interacting with culture I always hope to glean insight to my life and the world around me, so when framing most of my reflections I attempt to convey what I learned from a film along with my enjoyment o the affair.
I am also a writer of poetry, not really sure if that qualifies me as a poet, and I have had the privilege of being published a few times in my school’s literary magazine.
